Pilot home care services in Prespes and Resen
The municipalities of Prespes (Greece) and Resen (North Macedonia) — two remote areas where access to healthcare is particularly limited — are launching pilot actions to upgrade their local “Help at Home” programmes.
The new “Help and Healthcare at Home” services will be supported by modern digital tools and equipped mobile units, and will include diagnostic tests and personalised counselling and support at home.
The goal is for at least 3,000 people per year to gain access to modernised healthcare services, with the new infrastructure maintained after the end of the project.
