Accessibility statement
This website was designed and built on the principle of universal access: usable by everyone, regardless of disability, age, equipment or context of use.
Conformance level
The website targets — and has been audited for — full conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at level AAA (the highest level), together with the additional success criteria of WCAG 2.2. Conformance covers all pages, public and restricted, and all data-entry forms.
What this means in practice
- Every function is fully operable by keyboard, with no focus traps and no timing requirements.
- Text colour contrast exceeds a 7 to 1 ratio in all display themes.
- There are no time limits, no moving or flashing content, and no automatic changes of context.
- The website works fully without JavaScript and cooperates with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
- Every page provides skip links, a consistent heading structure, breadcrumbs and self-explanatory links.
- Forms provide instructions, specific error messages, and a review step before final submission.
- Plain-language summaries, a glossary of terms and expansion of abbreviations are provided.
- The “Display settings” page lets you adjust theme, text size and text spacing.
